Sri Lanka Air Force Celebrates 60 Years of Excellence Serving the Motherland with an Air Show, Exhibition & Carnival from March 2nd to March 8th, 2011 at the Sri Lanka Air Force Base at Ratmalana.
The Air Show is poised to be a one of a kind experience featuring
· Air Show inclusive of Air Combat Maneuvers and Aerobatic displays by SLAF and International teams.
· Simulated Air to Ground attacks by Jets and Attack Helicopters.
· Simulated hostage rescue operation with SLAF Special Forces Paratroopers and Aircraft.
Exhibition Featuring
· Exhibition of Aircraft, Vehicles and Weaponry hitherto never displayed.
Exhibition of vintage Aircraft and Weaponry restored to working order.
Carnival Featuring
· Live bands
· Children’s entertainment, rides and play areas
· Exquisite cuisine
· Fireworks Displays
