Sri Lanka bags two gold medals in weight-lifting at South Asian Games in Dhaka. W G K Bandara has won a gold medal from the 56 kilo gram event, while Chinthana Geethal Widanage has claimed the gold medal in 69 kilo gram event. Sri Lanka is in the second place of the medal table on the 11th South Asian Games, with two gold medals, one silver and one bronze. India leads the medal table with one gold, three silver and a bronze.
