Sri Lanka beat Australia by 5 wickets at the under 19 World Cup in Malaysia. Australia was all out for 172 runs in 49.3 overs and in reply Sri Lanka reached the total comfortably in the 37th over with 5 wickets in hand. Munaweera, A.K. Perera and SMA Priyanjan high-scored with 43 runs each for Sri Lanka. N.M. Kavikara was the pick of the bowlers capturing 3 wickets in 10 overs conceding 20 runs.
