sri lanka internet

does anybody know the reason why sri lanka cannot provide fast internet although adsl is fast

normally we have

512 Kbps , 1 Mbps , 2 Mbps

where as other countries get like 10Mbps for a lesser rate????

Meekane bro seen 1, Godak gewal wala tiyanne SLT ADSL connection 1ne...
SLT la 4n connection 1 deela tiyanne copper line walinne.
Copper line 1kee denda puluwan uparima speed 1 tamai 2 MB.....
eeka nisa telecom lata normal 4n line ekak tiyana gedarakata 2MB ta wediya speed denda widihak nehe.....
