Sri Lanka should join nations of BRICS it should start trading in National Currencies. It should not be dependent on US Dollar in Reserve currency. Instead it should hold Chinese yuan,Japanese Yean, Singapore Dollar, Swiss Franc and Australian Dollar, Saudi Riyal,,UAE Durhams, etc as reserves. We should ask Gulf states to trade with Oil with their local currency and Sri Lankan Rupee instead of US dollars. All our imports and exports should be non US dollar based. We should leave SWIFT Banking system. The market should stop forward trading in Sri Lankan Rupee. Which weakens the Rupee. All our Import and Export should be non US Dollar base. Sri Lanka should focus on exports to other markets apart from USA they should be given incentive. Sri Lankan Rupee should be internationally traded.
We do not need obsolete 1960 navel craft ,the cost of decommisioning is high that is why it is dumped to Sri Lankan Navy.
