Lankan teen killed in south London
A 17-year-old Sri Lankan boy died from stab wounds to the neck in Croydon, south London, while another 16-year-old boy was killed in a knife attack in Manchester.

Officers were called to the Croydon incident at 1.33am after reports of a scuffle involving about eight males at the junction of Sumner Road and London Road.

The victim, who has yet to be named, died a few hours later at nearby Mayday hospital.

A man in his 20s has been arrested in connection with the murder.
