However, the cost of our fibre internet is the same as that of satellite-based internet. Actually, SLT and Dialog, our two fibre ISPs, were able to make significant profits as a result of Starlink. However, people continue to believe that Starlink helped them. In actuality, the opposite was true.

මටනම් 200GB වලට වඩා මාසෙට ඕන වෙන්නෙ ඈ. ඒ නිසා ඔය දෙකෙන් එකක්වත් වැඩක් නෑ. හැබැයි internet slow වෙනකොට මටත් මොනව හරි එකක් ගන්න හිතෙනව. ආයම මාසෙට 10 000ක් විතර ගෙවන්න එපැයි කියල මතක්වෙනකොට ඕන නෑ ඉවසල ඉන්නව කියල හිතෙනව. මම තේරුම් අරන් තියෙන්නෙ StarLink වත් SLT fiber වත් නෙවෙයි මේ ප්‍රශ්න වලට විසඳුම ඉවසීම කියලා.

R6 ping kohomada mchn?

Unplayable even when it shows 50ms - 120ms. SLT 4G with 80ms+ was better than Starlink so far. But I only played R6 once in two months so it could have been a one off. That one time I played, it was absolute garbage. Every death looked like I was shot by Shaiiko until I saw the kill cams. They had about 1 good second to shoot me while my perspective was an instant death by a quick peek. Not recommending Starlink for R6.

Exactly. Those Starlink promoters don't even mention the cost ratio between fibre and Starlink in India and Sri Lanka, countries that use the same internet backbone.

Those Starlink promoters don't even mention the cost ratio between fibre and Starlink in India and Sri Lanka, countries that use the same internet backbone. Just search it yourself and see. In India Fiber is 100 times cheaper. In Sri Lanka it is the same cost between the two. These two countries uses the same internet backbone and they are nearby. So Fiber to Satelit cost ratio should be the same ratio. Not 1 to 100 and 1 to 1.
