Elon's engineering design philosophy was to have small but a large number of engines, rather than one massive engine. So he said even if a few fails the rocket will still make it into orbit. In this case probably a few too many failed.

• faster engine swapping/ replacements [since they're targeting shortest reflight turnaround - possibly few hours]
• number of engines needed can be changed based on the payload.
  [if customer want to send low mass stuff to a relatively low altitudes, they can reduce the engines & save the weight + fuel = low cost per kg charged from customer]

N 1 ඒකේ උනේ කරලියෙව් සාර්ථක වෙනවාට ගුස්කොෆ් කැමති නැහැ. එක හින්දා ඔය power ඒකේ kerosene එන්ජිම් හදන්න බැහැ ඕනේම නම් hypergolic engine හදලා දෙන්නම් කියපු හින්දා නිකොලොවිච් බියුරෝ එකට කියලා එන්ජිම් හදාගත්ත කේස් එක. එක රොකට් කොම්පැණියක් නෙමේ. උන් ගේ පලවෙනි රොකට් එන්ජිම ඔය. හැබයි සුපිරියක්. ඇමරිකාව ලගත් වෙනකම් ඒ රුසියන් එන්ජින් පාවිච්චි කලා.
