I did a/l s in maths stream and got BBC. I'm sure i will get selected to Colombo Uni Physical science. But my ambition is to become an engineer and do a job in technical field. Colombo Uni Physical Science degree is well recognized and its free i know that.But we have to think about this also.If we are doing a physical science degree we must be ready to get a 1st class or a 2nd upper degree. If we get a general degree we have to teach in an a/l section of a school. But if we do an engineering degree, and though we don't get a class we got a chance to do a good job. That's a main point. And I'm not interested to study math and phy to the deep, by doing a physical degree. I a really interested in technical field. So I decided to go to SLIIT and do Electronic Engineering. I would love to have a SL free education and have the spirit of a UNI life. but if i register in SLIIT i have no opportunity to apply for a local uni. But in the other side we can apply to SLIIT though we are a student of a local uni. But SLIIT starts on feb 2nd and have no time to do such  thing.
