This is not a Sub woofer friend.sub woofer contains only a woofer that outs only low frequencies . the things in your pictures are Three way buffels that outputs Low,Mid and high frequencies mixed.
These things according to my knowledge dear OK

thats gigantic buffels.. not sub woofers
i think sub woofer is for lower bass audio frequencies.. and small in size .
you can put it behind a sofa, under a desk or what ever the place you want.. its meant to be hidden..:P unlike Sri Lanka, Here we put it on top of all things..

it is not essetial to a sub to be small. I have seen a logitec 9.1 system which has a sub woofer about 2.5feet in height. but it was 1000W RMS one (not PMPO).

true, but better to be small... it depends on the size of your room.
small room - large sub woofer can give painful noises such as
windows and stuff shaking with the vibe..

macho what you see here is a 3 way speaker seen in setups
this style of speakers came from the old days
inside this 3 way system is a crossover circuit which filters the sound waves
    low waves to the woofer
    mid waves to mid speaker
    high waves to the tweeter
if you want more hardware detail just el me ok
hope its what ya were lookin 4
