I think Sometime the topic itself required so much detail to clear all the points and there are many different point and theme in that topics that also required detail.anyhow your suggestion are important.
If i add one more point in your suggestion that is if a person have not use your mention style, you can read his article introduction, all heading and conclusion to reach the original theme of the topic.
