[QUOTE="dinuksha_asela, post: 26178983, member: 18340"] I have a 2006 December Manufactured Brand new imported. Petrol 5.5-6 Kmpl Colombo Traffic. Engine models came from 2005 onwards till 2008 December 2.0 (J20A), 2.7 V6 (H27A). from 2009 Onwards, 2.4 J24B VVT, 3.2 V6 (Ford Sourced Engine). there are models which came for permits which is only 2WD models with J20A engine which should do more Fuel. as these are mostly AWD vehicles don't expect do do fuel more than above mentioned. Vehicle is bit heavier meant for All terrain work. (Occasional off-road). this has a proper Transfer case (Low and Hi) and 2 Diffs which require meticulous maintenance (Like proper grade oils etc) if not expect to fail Diff seals, bearings etc. maintenance wise, expect to be on higher side than your average Rav4 Xtrail etc. don't buy these type of vehicle just for the looks if your not ready for maintain them properly. for example, you cant replace the Lower arm ball joints on this model as it came Welded to the arm itself, previous owner has neglected to replace the Ball joint boots and water seeps in, end of the ball joint, i had to replace the both Arms costing 35k each. When it come's to parts AMW sucks, they don't even carry Oil filters. mostly sourcing parts from Partsouq and Amayama. for interior parts used megazip. most of the parts end up without getting stranded in Customs which is cheaper than agents most of the time. for J20A engine, once 100k nearby, look for Oil burning, you have to replace the Timing chain along with Cam and star gears, idlers oil seals and Valve stem seals (you can do this without opening the head).
