You can't just walk in to the VFS and apply visa for any country. There is a checklist which include so many documents if you are holding a Maldivian or Sri Lankan passport. So this process is not that simple. First get a salary slip from your work place with your job title and leave granting permission. You can get this from your HR. Then collect a bank account details from bank. Stamp it with the bank manager's signature. Including this there are so many docs you need to apply any schengen or any other visa from Sri Lanka. </blockquote>
