Does anyone been to Sweden through tourist visas for a visit ?
Please advice me whats a good agency to register here in SL and
Whats the cheapest airline would be? Also how was the interview?

schengen visa for Sweden is handled by Norway embassy in Sri Lanka.
But the process is Outsourced to VFS Global (Near Ceylinco Building in Pettah in front of BOC HO).

Visa application need to be filled online and visa fee must be paid by Credit card (60 EUR). Then we have to personally go the VFS to submit relevant documents because they obtain fingerprints and digital photo. whole process may take 2-3 hours depending on ow many people at that day.

For our visa there were no face to face interview but there was a written questionnaire, it asks all the general things like purpose of visit and contact details of the place your staying during the stay. Especially it ask Birthdays, NIC numbers, PP Numbers, Current residence address of all the members of your family (father, mothers, siblings, spouse,children) so go prepared with those details.

NOTE : Take a pen with you since there is only one pen so you will waste time waiting in line for the pen too

Who authorized to you to conduct interviews behalf of the Sweden embassy? Probably you are bypassing VFS and directly contact Norwegian embassy in Delhi.

Who authorized to you to conduct interviews behalf of the Sweden embassy? Probably you are bypassing VFS and directly contact Norwegian embassy in Delhi.

There were no interview. Just a questionnaire of about 20 questions. VFS just collect the documents and get the fingerprint scans and photos and submit them to Norwegian embassy in Colombo. You will get back your visa in 10-14 working days

That's correct. But you said "our visa". What does that mean?

There is a checklist which include so many documents if you are holding a Maldivian or Sri Lankan passport. So this process is not that simple. First get a salary slip from your work place with your job title and leave granting permission. You can get this from your HR. Then collect a bank account details from bank. Stamp it with the bank manager's signature. Including this there are so many docs you need to apply any schengen or any other visa from Sri Lanka.
