පුරා දශක හතක කාලයක් ශ්රී ලංකාවේ අත්තනෝමතික දේශපාලකයන් විසින් අපේ මව්බිම ඇද දමා ඇති ඛේදනිය තත්වය ඔබ අප සියලු දෙනාම තේරුම් ගෙන ඇතත් පවතින දේශපාලන රාමුව තුල ශ්රී ලාංකිකයන් අන්ත අසරණ තත්වයට පත්ව ඇති බව අපි හොඳින් දනිමු.
එසේ නම් පවතින ආණ්ඩුක්රම ව්යවස්ථාව වෙනුවට, වඩා යහපත් පාලන ක්රමයක් මඟින් නීතියේ ආධිපත්ය ස්ථාපිත කොට නව සාධනීය ක්රම වේදයක් බලාත්මක කිරීම අත්යාවශ්ය වේ.
ඒ සඳහා මෙම වසරේ පැවැත්වීමට නියමිත ජනාධිපතිවරණයේදී පක්ෂ, පාට, ජාති, ආගම්, කුල භේද ඉවතලා, පොදු අරමුණක් වෙනුවෙන්, දේශපාලන මංකොල්ලයෙන් අපේ මව්බිම බේරා ගැනීමට, එකම බලවේගයක් ලෙස පෙළගැසෙන ලෙස ගරු පුජ්ය පක්ෂයෙන් සහ සියලු විකල්ප කණ්ඩායම් වලින් අපි ඉතා කරුණාවෙන් සහ සහෝදරත්වයෙන් ඉල්ලා සිටින්නෙමු.
ශ්රී ලාංකිකයෙක් ලෙස, අප මාතෘභුමියේ දිගු කාලින යහපත උදෙසා ඔබේ වටිනා අත්සන තබා මෙයට දායක වන්න.

Dear Venerable Sirs, Brothers and Sisters of Sri Lanka,
We all understand the current miserable situation of our beautiful country, created by the irrational political leaders over the last seventy-one years. Within the existing corrupted political system and the constitutional framework, the general public is powerless to take any action to better the situation.
The only way forward is to replace the existing Constitution that can ensure a new and trustworthy form of governance and a system of justice that is free of corruption.
Therefore, we make this request to the Venerable clergy of all religions and the alternative political movements. Please overlook the differences of political parties and colours and religion, and form ONE FORCE in the forthcoming presidential election to save our country from this political mayhem.
As a Sri Lankan, please sign and support this request for the long term peace and prosperity of our Motherland.

கடந்த ஏழு தசாப்தங்களாக பகுத்தறிவற்ற அரசியல் தலைவர்களால் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட நமது அழகான நாட்டின் தற்போதைய பரிதாப நிலைமையை நாம் அனைவரும் புரிந்துகொள்கிறோம். ஆனால் தற்போதுள்ள ஊழல் முறைக்குள், பொது மக்கள் உதவியற்றவர்களாக இருக்கிறார்கள், எந்த நடவடிக்கையும் எடுக்க முடியவில்லை.
தற்போதுள்ள அமைப்பை புதிய நம்பகமான கட்டுப்பாட்டு முறையுடன் மாற்றுவது மற்றும் ஊழலை ஒழிக்க நீதி அமைப்பின் ஒருமைப்பாட்டை நிறுவுவது அவசியம்.
எனவே, அனைத்து இலங்கையர்களும் மரியாதையுடன், அனைத்து மதங்களின் மதிப்புமிக்க உறுப்பினர்கள் மற்றும் அனைத்து மாற்று அரசியல் இயக்கங்களுக்கும், கட்சி, நிறம், மதம் ஆகியவற்றின் வேறுபாடுகளை மறந்துவிட்டு, ஒரே சக்தியாக கைகோர்க்குமாறு, எதிர்வரும் ஜனாதிபதி தேர்தலில், நம் நாட்டைக் காப்பாற்றுவதற்காக இந்த அரசியல் சகதியில் இருந்து.
ஒரு இலங்கையர் என்ற வகையில், தயவுசெய்து நம் நாட்டின் நீண்டகால அமைதி மற்றும் செழிப்புக்கான இந்த வேண்டுகோளில் கையெழுத்திட்டு ஆதரிக்கவும்
