Taraweeh or night prayers is prayed 11 rakaats including witr 3 rakats in most part of the world & prayed 23 rakaats including 3 witr in some parts of the words... most of the masjids in middle east they pray only 11... opinions are differ from one another.. so u have to check for reliable resources & chek for ur self..

allah knows the best...

It is true that the most prayed by the Prophet (Sallah Allahu A'lih wa Sallam) was 11 - 13 but that was for a reason: the lengthy prayer he offers that almost ends by dawn time

It is an open matter, whoever wished to pray 13 as most of the time the prophet prayed then he touched the Sunnah.

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah said:
If a person prays Taraaweeh according to the madhhabs of Abu Haneefah, al-Shaafa’i and Ahmad, with twenty rak’ahs, or according to the madhhab of Maalik, with thirty-six rak’ahs, or with thirteen or eleven rak’ahs, he has done well, as Imam Ahmad said, because there is nothing to specify the number. So the greater or lesser number of rak’ahs depends on how long or short the qiyaam (standing in the prayer) is.
Al-Ikhtiyaaraat, p. 64
