Telnet වලට වගේම මේකටත් client - server කොටස් දෙකක් තියෙන්වා. client එක භාවිතා කරලා ssh server එකකට remotely login වෙලා ඒ server එක පාවිච්චියට ගන්න පුලුවං.Linux/unix වලට බොහෝ වෙලාවට ssh clients පද්දතියත් එක එනවා. Windows වලට තියෙන හොදම ssh client එක putty. Linux වල නං remote access වලට භාවිතා වෙන්නෙ ssh ම තමයි. Linux භාවිතා වෙන routers, network devices වලත් ssh තියෙනවා (ඔක්කොම වගේ ADSL routers වල ඕක තියෙනවා. enable කරන්න ඕනෙ).</blockquote>
