Russia knew this and they launched airstrikes on these oil deliveries in the Syrian and Turkey border. Turkey retaliated these Russian airstrikes by shooting down a SU25.5. Turkey provided a safe passage for the international extremists to Syria to join ISIS.</blockquote>
