&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; Upul Ilangamge who claimed to be a close friend of Presidential Candidate Rtd. Gen. Sarath Fonseka who resided in the US, Tuesday(Jan 12) came out with a strong statement saying that he will expose all the alleged arms deals that were made by the retired General through his son-in-law and Hicorp International. Upul Ilangamge speaking at a press conference said that he had been a close friend of Fonseka and he was the one who helped Fonseka to get his Green card.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; He added that his signature had been forged to sign Hicorp documents and he had filed a law suit against it in the US. Ilangamge added that those behind the Hicorp had taken action to postpone the case by 20 days avoiding the negative effect it will have on the General’s Presidential bid. Now that he has made this statement Ilangamge claims that his life will be under threat and if something happens to him the blame should fall on General Fonseka. He added that he is willing to debate these charges with the General anywhere.
