Ellen Kuras' documentary The Betrayal jumps between the '80s, when the family struggled to make a go of it (Phrasavath, who helped shoot this footage, is credited as codirector), and the present, when Phrasavath learns that his father, a CIA recruit and victim of Laotian ''reeducation'' camps, is still alive and has a family in Florida. The past-and-present layering is a lot more resonant — and less sketchy — than the film's theme of ''betrayal,'' both familial and governmental.Directors: Ellen Kuras & Thavisouk PhrasavathRelease Date: 21 November 2008 (USA) Genre: Documentary Runtime: 96 minCountry: USALanguage: English | LaoCastOrady PhrasavathSanti PhrasavathThavisouk PhrasavathSethy PhrasavathPhoummy PhrasavathDownload Links[code]http://rapidshare.com/files/279747137/vmt-betrayal-xvid.part1.rarhttp://rapidshare.com/files/279757981/vmt-betrayal-xvid.part2.rarhttp://rapidshare.com/files/279768743/vmt-betrayal-xvid.part3.rarhttp://rapidshare.com/files/279779234/vmt-betrayal-xvid.part4.rarhttp://rapidshare.com/files/279789489/vmt-betrayal-xvid.part5.rarhttp://rapidshare.com/files/279799671/vmt-betrayal-xvid.part6.rarhttp://rapidshare.com/files/279809749/vmt-betrayal-xvid.part7.rarhttp://rapidshare.com/files/279812495/vmt-betrayal-xvid.part8.rarNo Password!
