Abou Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (Allah's prayer and salvation be upon him) said: « The father is the middle door of the gates of heaven. So if you want, leave the door or take care of it ».
(Narrated by Tirmidhi in his Sunan No. 1900 who authenticated it and it has also been authenticated by Shaykh Albani in his Sunan Tirmidhi correction
