I received an email from one of my friends who told me that there was a "Latin" rapper named tha "N" word. I was shocked so I had to look it up myself
Here's what my friend told me:
EMI signed a light skinned reggaeton artist that uses the n word as a name. Yes, the artist name is "Nigga" and he is selling millions of units worldwide. He is already platinum in Central and South America and is getting a great response from the public in Europe.
Lets put it like this, he is the new Daddy Yankee. So the executives in the music industry do not want controversy about the "N" word while the new artist is pushing major units out of the states.
In fact he is going to release the project in the states in the next week under the name of "Flex" - but that will only be his name in the United States - he is going to be known as "Nigga" worldwide.
I hope no one gets offended by this thread, but it's not racist. I'm just wondering why a "Latino" would call himself tha "N" word?!
