Entertaining from beginning to end, it is  essentially "Cast Away" in space, but with more intellect, and slightly  more (IT) resources. I went into the movie not knowing a single  thing about the movie, and was hooked and captivated by the thrilling  plot throughout. While "Gravity" and "Interstellar" - both movies based  in space - are generally quite serious, "The Martian" mixes both the  serious and lighthearted perfectly. The opening surgical scene  is gory but so impactful, as you can literally feel the pain one has to  go through if one has to operate on oneself! The rest of the plot about  how Matt Damon's character uses his wit to survive in the bareness of  Mars was put together in a scientific and yet still very interesting  manner! Chemistry, botany, physics/astrodynamics all make a pretty good  formula for entertainment in "The Martian".I also like how humor  was injected into the movie, so as to make things seems so dull when it  actually is (solo astronaut in space growing plants doesn't seem like  the best material for a movie right?). It was very well balanced,  without throwing the movie off tangent like how other Hollywood movies  do sometimes. The part of the movie which i loved the most was  the team dynamics, when they thought they lost Damon's character. The  sudden realization that they had "lost" one team member was surreal...  the silence and emptiness was too difficult to ignore. And when they  managed to contact him again after they found out he was still alive,  the web conversation they had was funny, and layered with much love. Essentially  a movie about how one uses his wits to survive, The Martian is also a  movie about taking chances, a movie about working as a team - not  leaving any one person behind, and even a movie about being a leader  having to make difficult choices sometimes.<a href="http://archiveofourown.org/collections/Watch_The_Martian_2015_Full_movie_online_Free_vodlocker" target="_blank">Watch The martian Online movie Free</a></blockquote>
