Only a few are in refugee status now and even from those, only those that has not entered the legal process of getting asylum or being assimilated  will be deported back to SL.No, that's not the reason why they support the LTTE. The reason is that as long as the war is going on in SL, they are at an advantage as they play the victimized minority role in other countries to gain favors. Once the war stops, they can no longer claim they are victimized and they loose those favors.</blockquote>
