Theres a massive steel wall between the two sexes that keeps the males far beyond from females in Sri Lanka and everybody knows it..And
this firewall with 24/7 hard rock protection system starts from grade 1 to maximum University ages.Nursery is the only age that is free from this ..
This wall keeps children from knowing each other better.A boy cannot speak to a girl at any cause,. what is this?
A girl cannot telephone a boy even to know if the class is dismissed tomorrow. The wall is so big and unpenetrable that
a male child goes to college only filled by males and girls go to only the schools filled by females..
I mean what is wrong to talk to a girl or telephone.. Its not that Im going to marry her just want to burrow some notes.
This issue is made only because of adults. Why do they think that talking to different sex is wrong,
Falling love and making girlfriends might b wrong as religious or other reasons I agree but talking to a other sex is not wrong how so
ever. When a boy goes to a girl and asks "How are u?" the others around them gets curios, mad even disappointed about the country its like that they heard what the boy said as "will u to marry me?".
They don't have a little faith in their own children that they will disappoint & embarrass them ..
U can never see a person come over to a opposite sex person even to study or to greet in birthdays .

The wall is rock hard no one can scratch it by the time ,., But there's a good chance that this wall will tear apart in the
future. Let's prey

<about the picture thats the best symbol that i can get those who can figure out the picture means that is not what i meant>
and b kind enough to ignore the fact that lines are not well written.,,

thank u

Well Machan in 2days society i dnt see any barrier. bt parents are afraid bcoz wat will happen if there daughter comes hm wth a fatherless child or thr son cms hm wth an grl and a chld claming dat its the result of thr love, wat can the parents do whn things lyk dis happen.
Wat i thnk is thr should be a limit and obviously talking on the phone is nt wrng datsnormal frndshp i thnk most parents understand dis 2day

    Thama math hoyanooo....
I went to a mixed school. The barrier was not such damn there. Yes I admit it was there. If a teacher see a boy and a girl chattering there will mostly be a whole lot of questions.
But they also had some points. What do you think a 9th grade boy come and ask a sixth grade girl, "Nangi oya mata kamthida?". The girl(even the boy (I had no idea at grade 9)) has no idea about love. They can take anything out of tese little girls. That's why most teachers are so. I know it because both my parents are teachers.

Most boys just asking a girl without thinking. A recent incident came to my mind. A boy from grade 10 has asked a grade 8 girl. She refuced. Then he asked her best friend "Nangi araya kamthi natnam oyawath mata kamathi wenna". They have no idea.
So I think teachers should act to protect these girls from this kind of situations. In the schools we boys do another mistake. Some times we are talking with a girl just a subject matter of ask her some notes. When a teacher comes they fear that the teacher will punish them and try to flee. Then the teacher get suspicious and try to inquire it. These kind of situations leads to the present situation. I have used this knowledge to talk with girls in my school. I never did fled. I just face the teacher and smiled at him. They mostly think that I'm not doing something wrong and they just walk.

yeah cant be the wall itself make these probs .. v dont talk to girls very often, nver
share thoughts,, do not know in person that makes much of the boys attracted tooo much to the girls and those who cant live wit it goes in the wrong way like the guy in Grade 10
