Struggling with his physical and psychological changes, Sang-hyun’s faith is further put to test when Tae-ju (Kim Ok-vin), the wife of his childhood friend, comes to him and seeks his help in escaping from her repressed and tired mundane life. As Sang-hyun starts having an affair with Tae-ju, the former priest finds himself plunging into a world of sensual pleasures and struggling to maintain the remains of his humanity.</blockquote>
