The BTV (Buddhist TV) was volunteering to join hand with Tiens to contribute towards the social development by donating books and materials for the needy children in highly remote areas in Sri Lanka. This Donation was presented to Ven.Daranagama Kusaladhamma Thero the President of The Buddhist TV and this event was telecasted live worldwide and locally at no cost on 30th Oct 2010.
There were many distinguished guests presented as Hon. President of Appeal Court, Hon Justice Sathya Hettige PC, Coordinating Secretary to the Hon.President, Mr. Rathnayaka, Coordinating Secretary to the Hon. Prime Minister, Mr.Dharmarathna Herath, Chairman Kandy City Centre, Mr. Thusitha Wijesena, Chairman Associated Motorways PLC, Mr. Tilak De Zoysa, Director General BMICH, Mr. Bandula Ekanayaka, Managing Director Yathra Travels, Mr. Suranimala Senarathne, Commissioner Colombo Municipal Council, Ms. Badrani Jayawardana, Managing Director MEDICOM, Dr. Lohitha Samarawickrama in the donation program
This was held at Sambodhi Viharaya, Colombo 07 and the Tiens management with Top leaders of Distributors were participated in the Donation program.
