The notorious London-based LTTE terrorist A.C.Shanthan alias Chrishanthakumar has been re-arrested for terrorist funding and procurement operations. This is the second time the British police have nabbed this Tiger following the interrogation of three other LTTE suspects.
Shanthan was first arrested on June 28, last year and charged under the Terrorism Act. He was later released on bail in five months later. He was working closely with Anton Balasingham to build up the Tiger branches in the UK.
Shanthan has remained for nearly 20 years as Britain's LTTE leader who organised all Tiger activity in the UK.
