Tiger Woods Seriously Injured In Auto Accident

Golfer Tiger Woods was seriously injured in an automobile accident Friday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Woods pulled out of his driveway about 2:25 a.m. when he struck a fire hydrant, and then drove into a tree at his neighbor's property.

Woods was driving his 2009 Cadillac SUV. There was no alcohol involved, according to the Highway Patrol.

Charges are pending in the case, although it was not yet clear what sort of charges would be filed.
