To Be Or Not To Be
A word to the wise for all who would dare,
To open their hearts and lay their soul bare.
To look to the world in wonder and awe,
To question not what they feel or they saw.
To hold to beliefs that fit to a tee,
Some other's opinions but not what you see.
To follow in footsteps of others who may
Not deserve your respect and may lead your astray
Yes sometimes the heart may make you unwise,
So tread ever so lightly, no unwanted surprise.
And sometimes when your world falls apart,
Take stock in yourself, and make a new start.
To give up and accept less than you need,
Is to bow to defeat and you'll never be free.
So take heart and learn from your other mistakes.
There's no need to worry, no reason to hate.
For all that it takes is for your mind to be made,
To decide whether to lead or to fall by the way.
