i liked both versions ringu and the ring..and well honestly i cant really take asian horror films..i have watched them..but they really dont play with those types of films..and i dont sleep for days and what not..im too jumpy or i think someone is coming for me

for me asian horror movies are much better...and they sustain the suspension well..

Those arnt horror movies. Most of the time they are just comedies. Asian film makes know how build suspense and really scare you without showing any gore.
That's real art and cinematography.

see how desperate american directors have to depend on gore ..movies like hostel or hills have eyes are good examples where asians, on the other hand, do it with minimum amount of blood and gore..movies like audition are freaking intense..not to get confused ..asians do make sick movies..

recently watched a nice british movie called eden lake...which relatively had less violence yet it had maintained a great atmo and suspence thru out the entire time.

Unless you actually go to see a horror movie to laugh. In which case I'd say its time for the men with the white coats and happy pills..

what i mean to say is...that with american horror films you can always walk away and feel a sense of fakeness to them, asian horror films do it in a way so subtle that things stay in your mind for a while , underlying your daily activities for a few days..thats all..you dont have to say things like i need to get some pills or medication..what about for you? someone who cant get the whole gist of anothers post?

I'm, trying to get the gist of a post where one says they are watching a horror film in order not to get scared and came up with two possible reasons for that. Either one of them could be true or even both of them could be true or both of them could be false.

if you ever get to know me...my response wasnt hostile...im just very talkative...what i mean to say is..that its easier for me to look at a western horror film and not get scared..because when you look at them, they can be pretty outrageous and so fake looking, easter/asian horror films are more realistic..henceforth are more scary to me than ever

how on earth do you manage it ?
I have slightly wavy hair and I have to keep it real short. If it grows more than 2 or 3 inches, its totally unruly. Cant keep it in one place without using hair spray or cream.
