The woman inspector on my case, the person actively supporting me,  had a complaint filed against her by a friend of Krishantha’s. This friend of his is also a politician. I doubt if it’s coincidence or she’s being intimidated by Krishantha or his supporters.Also, the Galle police have not arrested any of the suspects despite it being a rape case and its already over 2 months since I complaint. My lawyer and the judge have reminded Galle police several times that it’s judicial procedure to arrest and produce suspects at court if a rape complaint, and they can put suspects on bail if doubt of the case. Chinese Embassy also reminded Galle police. However, Galle police ignored the lawyer, judge and Chinese Embassy and did whatever they wanted. They are showcasing a country without law and order and it’s terrible. When I shared my story online, many local people shared similar stories and we are so desperate. I just want these men to be arrested and for this story to go viral for international awareness and law and order in this country. I hope more women will speak up.Krishantha may have intimidated my lawyer too. I have a lawyer in Galle but I couldn’t get in touch with him for over two weeks. I have called him and messaged him over and over. He finally messaged me on 21st June saying he was very sick and not able to talk. I feel like he has also been threatened and intimidated. </blockquote>
