Trace Websites !!! little hacking trick

    Surfing Internet .......
    Type in the url and Hit Enter, that's it ?

    But .......
    Have you ever thought what happens after that ?

    Lets Trace n see what happens !

    Do the following :


    # Start >> Run

    # Type cmd

    # This will open the Command Prompt

    # Type cd\

    # Type tracert www.google.com

    Note :-
    You can replace www.google.com with any website url.

    Results :-
    ## First line shows the IP address of the website...
    ## You'll be shown steps in which the website gets load !
    ## More is the number of steps more is time taken to load the website !

    That's all !

    That means if I go to a gurl's house and then change Google.com to ma site..everytime she tries to go to google she ends up in ma site!!

    so ma site will have more hits!!

    What BS!

    traceroute (tracert on windows) shows the route path from your IP to the destination IP.
    It simply show the rout path taken to reach the destination IP. Nothing to do with site loads.

    Tracert will not do anything of the sort. You'll have to change the DNS she uses or modify the hosts file in her PC to do something like that.
