A traditional Aztec dance at the Zócalo, the Central square in Mexico. It was the main ceremonial center in the Aztec city of Tenochtitlan. The Spanish used the blocks to build the churches around and now the Templo Mayor (the Main Temple) is nothing but ruins.
In the evenings there are gatherings of locals, nicely dressed in their colourful attires and does various religious ceremonies and their traditional dancing. Burning incense, blowing conches, drummings and it's niice to watch. This is a short clip recorded while we were there in last May.
