Unlock your Treo 600 for free

Here are the instructions on how to fully unlock any Treo 600:

Unlocking is actually quite simple:

Part One:
1. Download and install Card Export. download Card Export shareware here .
2. Make sure you can see the Treo's SD card as a logical drive on the machine the Treo is connected to (if not connected try to sync your phone using Treo desktop manager).
3. Dowload the flash, patched.zip, here.

Skip part one if you can copy the downloaded files to your MMC card /PALM/LAUNCHER folder ***to make this folder automaticaly format the MMC card using Treo handset

Part Two:
1. Unzip all the files and copy them to the /PALM/LAUNCHER folder on your SD card.
2. Hard reset the Treo. (find the hard reset button near the battery and use your styles to reset)
3. Navigate to the card using the standard application launcher and run FirmwareUpdater.prc.
4. Click OK, click the Update Now button (I may have forgotten one or two OK clicks here so don't hesitate to correct me here).
5. Sit back and relax, it's going to take a good 10 minutes.
6. The phone will automatically hard reset at the end of the process.

Note* this upgrade is far better than the previous one with more features

That's all, really. Note that I think it does do the entire 2.09 firmware upgrade, so all this should even work when you're on an older firmware version.

about v3x it is possible to unlock your phone but not easy. you have to go through testpoint procedure (you have to open the phone cut the shield of the chip and ground one pin) read more about testpoint here www.boot-loader.com and download the testpoint image 4 v3x from public download. download smartmoto unlocker here www.smart-clip.com you can use usb port instead of using their smartmoto clip which cost you money. note install v3x drivers if you are planing to use usb.

Yes you can download the smartmoto software from www.smart-clip.com and theres a option you can select to usb to connect your phone. and www.boot-loader.com for the images and manuels. read everything before you continue

Hey Neon,
wot happened to your phone mate?. i was thinking its better if you goto a shop and do the unlocking instead of taking the risk. they will charge you little bit more than the usual price cos they have to open the phone and all that.
that is the safest way.

but if you want to take the red pill...
