The three laws adopted by Sir Arthur C. Clark in his life were (1)“When a distinguished but elderly scientist states that something is possible, he is almost certainly right. When he states that something is impossible, he is very probably wrong." (2) "The only way of discovering the limits of the possible is to venture a little way past them into the impossible." (3) "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."

Sir Arthur was 90 years old at the time of his death.

ayyoooooooooooo.. both the grandmasters of Science Fiction are dead now :(

Aisac Asimov died sum time ago but nw Clerk... what great loss to the SF community... These 2 guys made Science Fiction what it is now.. (Not talking about the crappy movies.. but the real SF, which is books & short stories...)

Clerk wrote some of the most memorable SF short Stories out there. (Even now in almost every top 100 SF stories Lists, the below ones from Clerk are listed every time )

Nine Billion Names of God, The Star & The Sentinel (Read them if u can..excellent stories)
    http://home.austarnet.com.au/petersykes/topscifi/lists_short_stories.html

And also he wrote sum of the best SF Books too
2001, 2010, the awesome 'Rama' series & one of my fav SF books of all time.. 'Childhoods End'

I'm a SF Fan..so I'm very saddened by the fact that the last remaining Grand Master of SF passed away.. (Heinlein, Asimov & Zelezny are all dead now :( )

Its time for the new ones like Ocean Scott Card to carry the flame now I guess.. (This guy wrote the best SF book ever 'The Enders Game'..so future of SF is secured atleast :))
