Questions Trip to Kandy

Hi All!

We're planing on traveling to "Kandy".
Please consider the following facts before answering.
Any valuable information regarding these are much appreciated.

• We will probably visit on next month (February)
• How's will be the weather? Rain?
• COVID-19
• Transportation: We might use the train
• Probably for "2 night"
• We plant to stay at a decent hotel (Budget for "Half-board double basis": 15k per night (max))
• Anywhere else worth-visiting than the followings?
  • Temple of Tooth
  • Museum
  • Peradeniya Garden
  • Bahirawakanda
  • Udawattakale
• Since we're not taking a vehicle, we wish to use taxis, public transport for the locations

How can we predict what's gonna happen next month, or next week for that matter, with covid? At this moment it's not advisable to visit anywhere, least Kandy to fulfil your kinda desires. My advice would be to decide/plan about 2 days ahead of the trip. Your suggestions are good for visiting.

Usually there's no rain in February.
Covid 19 - there are many cases in kandy.
Hotels, better try online. Some hotels are taken as quarantine centres.
Advice you to travel on your own vehicle or rent a vehicle.
You can visit nelligala, ranawana and gadaladeniya temples as well. If time permits, you may visit ambuluwawa too.
