Dear all Sri Lankas. See what happening in Kalpitiya .... Sea Turtles are killing by local fishermen !!! Help us to stop it please !!!
One of my friend went early morning for walk on the beach. He saw Turtle on beach moving around. When he came closer he was shocked. The turtle´s head was cut off !!!! Close by couple of fishermen were leaving that place .... He came bach to guesthouse for camera. We went with him. That turtle wasnt there anymore but bit farther we found other turtle (pics below) again with head amost cut off. We have been informed that local fishermen killing turtles this way when turtels tangle into nets ... They simple cutting their heads off ....... WHAT A CRUELTY !!
