I'm sick of this, every time I see a sinhala movie its about love.. and breaking love, fixing love, is love all we Sri Lankan's think of? Turn on the Radio to a Sinhalese station and look! Love love love! I think all story writers and song writers are mentally retarded or something... And look because of all this love in our air (both on TV and Radio) 14 year olds have girl friends and guess what! they spend 30% of there time with girls and checking on them and talking to them, and only 30% time dreaming about them, 30% sleeping and only 10% studdying, and not to mention that everything can be halted (giving 100% of there time to the relationship) if problems come up with the relationship. Some even think its "cool" to have a girl or girls(s).
Parents should intervene and help there childs relationship (although in Sri Lanka if parents find out they will try to stop it, it isn't the right thing to do!!) if parents did help the children they would be able to manage there studying and the relationship. It would save a lot of trouble in the long run.
It is time parents started loving and caring for there children and respecting the child's whatever relationship, humans seek for love if they don't get it. But in Sri Lanka parents kick children away and address there own problems with LOVE!!!
First to make our country work, we need to fix our problems with relationships and how we treat our children, a mother and father bought the child into this world! so the parents should try to help him, not to beat him half to death (this is what most parents do).
A child comes into this world, seeking, love and guidance and trial and error. Just because a child did a mistake doesn't mean the parent has the right to hit a child! Parents have no right to hit a child! they bought the child to this world, the child did not choose to come into this world they bought him and THEY BEAT HIM?!
In Sri Lanka most parents take children for granted, it should really stop. You hit a child for good or bad you make the worst sin you can ever make.
