TVTorrentz.org is NOT like other torrent sites! Our goal as a community is to make as much TV available as possible, all the time. We call this goal the BIG virtual HDD. A dead torrent is a failure to the community and has to be avoided at all costs.
This goal requires dedicated members that are willing to help out with seeding the torrents on the site. To help us synchronize our seeding efforts we have developed a unique concept called "adoptions". All members have to (as a bare minimum) adopt at least 2 children (season packs) and 2 pets (single episodes). Everyone is encouraged to adopt as many as possible though, all the way up to the maximum allowed (20 children and 10 pets). To keep your adoptions alive you have to seed them for at least 12 hours per every 24 hours (on average).
As a new member you will have 50 GB credits added to your account. You will therefore have no problems at all to start downloading both the things you want to watch as well as the torrents you need to download to adopt. If you already have the exact same files you can use them to start seeding (and adopting) directly. Make sure the torrents you pick have free adoption slots (you see this info on the details page for that torrent).
After you have reached user class Probie you will be able to submit new torrents. Just make sure you read the uploading rules carefully before you do.
