Two persons were killed in a shoot out in Radampala, Dikwella when Police opened fire at a speeding lorry carrying stolen cattle on Saturday morning.
According to Police, those who were in the speeding lorry had opened fire at the Police.
In return Police fired killing two persons in the lorry and seven cows.
One person is presently being treated at the Matara Hospital.
