On tip: One great thing would be Hybrid Standby in Vista/7 where you can put the PC into standby (it will also hibernate) and if power comes on soon, you only have to wait 5 seconds. If power doesn't come for sometime, you can turn off the UPS and still have your session saved. Power on and it will resume from hibernation.</blockquote>
