oya vga drivers install kare kohomada? manually dl karalada? nathnam repository eken da? (synaptic package manager) ?

if you have installed correct drivers, it should give you correct res. If not, you have to edit xorg. it is a dangerous thing. if you dont know, you could currpt things...

I think there is a graphical xorg frond end in the latest version of ubuntu. you can use that, which will give less risk than editing the file. or you can open the xorg.conf file and post the entire thing inside. someone will edit it for you. but make sure you have installed propper drives.if you tried to install it in any other way than the syaptic, you maybe have got the drive brocken or something.....
