thnx machan..but thats the usual way of doing that ne..its just the network manager built-in to the OS. but we cant send or receive SMS though that ne ban..

What I need is an app similar to mobile partner which can be used in Ubnutu.

hay..thnx for the screenshots..maybe I have given the wrong Idea. this is the buit-in network manager ne.

This is what im using right now for mobile broadband. But I need an interface to send and receive SMS and get other details like traffic details and so on...

Mobile partner in Windows does all of them. I need that kind of an app.

hay thnx man...it was working fine for SMS..cool...

but having some issues with setting the preference for 3G only kind of things..but really helpful for Messaging purposes..
