Bertram Pincus is a man whose people skills leave much to be desired. When Pincus dies unexpectedly, but is miraculously revived after seven minutes, he wakes up to discover that he now has the annoying ability to see ghosts. Even worse, they all want something from him, particularly Frank Herlihy who pesters him into breaking up the impending marriage of his widow Gwen. That puts Pincus squarely in the middle of a triangle with spirited result.

Ghost Town is a fantasy based romantic comedy directed by David Koepp about a man who gets the ability to communicate with the dead. Dr. Bertram Pincus meets an unexpected death but is miraculously revived only minutes later. He then learns that this incident has gifted him with the power to see and communicate with ghosts, all of whom want something from him. One of the ghosts is Frank Herlihy (Greg Kinnear), who offers to keep all the other ghosts at bay, if Bertman agrees to stop the marriage of Frank’s widow, Gwen (Téa Leoni) with a humorless human rights lawyer Richard (Billy Campbell), who actually is a morally corrupt gold-digger and wants to marry Gwen for her wealth.
