But now, the circumstance has been changed. I think 2-3 years ago anybody can approach (as a student) without having an ESOL exams. Now it's compulsory. Biggest trend is get the visa as a tier 4 student. Other visa categories have some relevant restrictions and releases depend on the statuses. For an example Family visitor applicant may not need to prove about their English ability. In this case i have no clear idea about his visa category. Anyway, qualifications and behavior can prevent his difficulties. And most likely to grant. It depends on his application. But if the visa officer needs to check his English he must face the scenario (it's due to his visa category). And, if applicant gets the interpreter it has a maximum chance to refuse, that the thing i never wish to happen for anyone. </blockquote>
