They went to pay respect to the Father of our nation D.S. Senanayaka. Even Athauda Senevirathna was there to pay homage. I don't see any harm in that machan. They even hoisted the National flag and said the national anthem also. So no harm in that. This is a Democratic Country. Even CJ didn't attend the Ceramony in Galle face.
