and cant we make User Ranks for the age that the member was in the site ..
im mean the join date??the older the better rank??

I really don't care about the join date because there are tons of useless 0 posters who registered in 2006

But i might consider those old posts and things you did in the old days. But if you are not active now and have no intention to be active in the future, You will not be presented with any higher ranks.

Anyway 1 year deadline might create problems coz some are busy now and will get some free time in the future.

If he never qualified to upgrade to the next stage called Certified Member he will be in Member rank forever but his Member rank will be upgraded to relevant Member Level depending on the post count.

If he never qualified to become a member he will be in User rank forever but his User rank will be upgraded to relevant User Level depending on the post count

I suggest this "never" to become 1 year/2 years or a particular time interval - A deadline for all members to upgrade their ranks

So if they didn't upgrade within an interval, then what'll happen to them?

Gr8 work GT! Nice to see a membership ranking system where “post count” doesn’t play a major role. But I’ve got a question here - - - What are the added advantages of been a member or a certified member. Is it all about the recognition among members?

As a new suggestion to this system - - -

1) As I understood, members have to apply to be a “Certified member”. Wouldn’t it be better if you guys (site admins) select the members who are suitable for this rank? - - Just a suggestion.

There will be lot of add advantages within this site and out of this site too.
And some leadership advantages too.

Certified Members are selected by me or some panel. Only Members will have an option to request membership.

hmmmm I thought about this for a while..... Yes..... 'never' shoud work well

If a member fails to upgrade his rank within the time frame, his/her entrance to the member level will get closed forever. Eventhough that person becomes a valuble poster after the particular time, he will feel kinda unfair... hehe
