Wtf. UPS won’t last half of that time even if it’s not connected to anything 😂 My UPS goes blank after 15-20 mins when it’s powering PC and monitor which. Draws like 70+ W at any given time. If the GPU is working hard I’m lucky if I can get even 5mins. Without Original prolink batteries you cannot even predict. Without any other components UPS can go for like 45mins maybe. Mine is 650VA prolink with 7.2 random brand batteries. Prolink batteries did way better than the replacements

bro. do ur calculations, im using my f660 fiber router plugged into a prolink 650va. i check it about once a month to do a battery cycle + change battery every 2 years. if u just plug the router only it lasts that much. you could also run it for about 3hrs with a stepup cable (router buddy) + a power bank. i also plug a dialog wingle to the usb port of router 2 have two internet lines

im not talking about running a full power hungry PC + router. yes its true the replacement batteries dont last long as the original battery

try and tell me. get a UPS, plug ur dialog or slt router, tell me the time

    එතකොට බන් 70w use කරොත් 15min use කරන්න පුලුවන්නම්. 1w use කරත් 15 min නම් use කරන්න පුළුවන්. ඉතුරු energy එක කොහෙද යන්නේ ?

I don't think UPS will do the trick. However you can do as bellow

    First let's count Wattage

    Lap : let's say 100W
    Router: 20W

so your total wattage be = 120W
    You need a 9 hours of power = 120W*9H = 1080WH

Now let's count the battery capacity you need. remember if you use car batteries you can only use 50%, if you use deep cycle you can use 80%. Let's assume you are going to use deep cycle batteries.

    So actual WH need is = 1080 + (1080/100*20) = 1296WH
    Battery Amh Hours (12V batteries) = 1296/12 = 108Amh
You need a 100Ah battery at least.

    Things you'll need
    1) An inverter which can use above battery size.
    2) Battery charger (if inverter don't have one)
    3) DC breaker ,(in between inverter and batteries) and some wires.

This is a rough idea, please use a professional if you aren't familiar with these stuff.

Good calculation. Most people think UPS is a backup power system. The role of UPS is to provide uninterrupted power during failover to backup power and wise versa.

Another aspect to consider is charging time, if planning to use daily.
Recommended current for charging lead acid batteries is 2A (for longer battery life).

In that case, to charge a 100Ah batter, it will take = 50 hours.
If charged with 4A, time for charging = 25 hours.

    If planning to use for 9-10 hours. you'll need 2 x 100Ah batteries ( charging with 4A)

Over discharge protector is essential if inverter does not have the feature or planning to use with DC-DC step up/down.

In my backup system I charge deep cycle batteries (It's a 24V system) in 10A via inverter
