US Robotics Port Forwerding

    I have the US Robotics 9107A ADSL router, and I have no idea how to set up port forwarding to RADMIN Can anyone help?

    macho. this is what you have to do.. a port number is basically a unique indentifier for your downloading software. if your are using utorrent for an example. u torrent will provide you with a 5digit number (port number) you have to enter that in your routers virtual server utility, enter the port on both start and end. and give the protocol TCP. and save that it, end check whether your port is open through utorrent. hope this will help you.

    machan, i don't have a static ip .. and the TCP section is blank on the network proparties,
    what shal i put in the 'host ip' section

    you have to put you ip address to the host part,, in your case it should be 192.168.1.X , defntly not 192.168.1.1. copy paste the port number to both start and end. put your pc ip addy as the host address, select the tcp option,you can select UDP as well..but id recommend TCP.

    go to command prompt (dos button+R) and type cmd . in the command prompt type- ipconfig . you can find your ip there. if your machine is the only pc connected to your router, it has to be 192.168.1.2.if multiple machines are connected, using the command prompt is the best way to find out.

    your window should look like illustrated below


    192.168.1.2

    utorrent1 12345 12345 tcp
